a book by Stephen Redman

About the author

Stephen Redman is the Pastor of the Ark Church in historic York, part of the Ground Level network of churches. He is married with three daughters.

Stephen also serves as a trustee on the boards of Candlelighters, the childrens cancer charity and One Voice the York based network of church leaders.

Born in Lincolnshire, but having lived nearly all his life in Yorkshire, Stephen lost his father when he was only 7 years old and until he left home to study Physics at University in 1977, he lived alone with his phobic mother. Finding God in a little Pentecostal church in Goole, Stephen continued to be involved in the church becoming a regular preacher whilst still in his teens. He not only found God in that little church but also found his wife too! They continued their church involvement whilst Stephen worked in retail management for over 20 years. In 2003, Stephen planted the Ark Church, which is now part of the Ground Level network of churches.
